Arrived at the studio running few minutes late. Nevertheless, Dave greeted me. It was nice to know that he recognized me from an AIGA event. His advice for being successful in Graphic Design, be good proofreader, study color. Also, if an expert that helps differentiates from the rest, get involved with AIGA & introduce yourself, borderline persistence & stalking. Research on stock, design researcher, content provider, what current typography trend popular. Don't take critique personal, don't critique in a way to disrespect, mad or defensive, and critique in a loving and compassionate way. Fact find/ look at competitors after design brief. Always get paid upfront. Straight to the point info. Love it!
